Well, lets start out with a very big Happy New Year to everyone. Thank you so much for making my blog a little more successful in 2016 than I expected. My intention from the beginning was to make it all about the people, the journey and the adventures that I had along the way. To inspire people to step out of their comfort zone and go for it! Keeping it always conversational and as humourous as possible.
I have decided to continue my adventures and explore the globe in a more thorough way. I am going to continue to learn French, buy a van, renovate it and live in it for a while. Continue to explore more cultures and achieve my climbing goals………..The adventure begins NOW!
The next year is going to be just as, if not more exciting than the last, with a gigantic geographical move in location for me. I am headed to Europe, specifically France for most of 2017. I am excited, anxious and a little overwhelmed with this to be honest, but I am embracing it with a fervour and vigour that I thought possibly extinct in me. I have a restored motivation driving me forward to new possibilities.
Oh god I cant believe I am saying this, but I will be living in Paris for a while. Life throws opportunities at you and sometimes you just have to jump up and grab them. The thought of waking up and walking down to the patisserie for baguettes and croissants is just fabulous. Living one hour from Fontainebleau, the best bouldering in the world and being able to just go there because it’s so damn close. Now thats just bloody exciting.
Thanks again for reading. I hope you continue to enjoy the journey you are on and if you feel like saying “G’day” from time to time…….Just do it! I’d like to hear your stories too.
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.
